Two innovation leaders join forces: Packwise, specialist for IoT-supported container tracking, and SCHÄFER Container Systems, leading provider of stainless steel IBC solutions, announce their strategic partnership. Together, they are launching Packwise Smart Cap and SCHÄFER Smart LOG, two ground-breaking solutions that are revolutionising digital transformation in the chemical and food industries.
Digital intelligence for industrial containers
The industry is facing enormous challenges: Unclear inventories, inefficient processes and a lack of transparency in the supply chain lead to high costs and production risks. With the new IoT-based solutions from Packwise and SCHÄFER Container Systems, companies are gaining end-to-end, data-based control over their container fleets for the first time.
Two solutions, one goal: Maximum efficiency
The Packwise Smart Cap offers precise real-time monitoring of fill levels, temperatures and location data. It ensures maximum safety when transporting hazardous goods and significantly improves supply chain monitoring. Thanks to the direct connection to existing ERP systems, transport and ordering processes can be automated, enabling companies to achieve greater planning reliability and significantly reduce their logistics costs.
The SCHÄFER Smart LOG was specially developed for the food industry and provides crucial data for quality assurance. In addition to continuous monitoring of fill levels and temperatures, the solution also offers pressure and light measurement, helping to optimise storage and production conditions. The automatic alarm function reports critical deviations immediately so that companies can react proactively to changes and avoid rejects.

Customers can experience the smart container solutions live at the upcoming Drinktec trade fair from 15–19 September in Munich and Fachpack from 23–25 September in Nuremberg.
