Bissinger Auerquelle wins FRUCADE Quality Award 2022 by a wafer-thin margin

With a dream score of 100 points, Bissinger Auerquelle has secured the FRUCADE Quality Award 2022 - for the fifth time in a row. The owner-managed mineral spring from the Swabian town of Bissingen once again beat out around 40 other licence partners of the FRUCADE lemonade brand. The licensees are exclusively small and medium-sized breweries and mineral springs from southern Germany.

The FRUCADE Quality Award has been presented annually since 2005 by DrinkStar, owner of the FRUCADE lemonade brand. The aim is to promote and reward entrepreneurial quality awareness in the long term. For the competition, the entire production chain is checked several times, starting with the microbiological analysis of the FRUCADE lemonades, through the filling into the returnable glass bottle, to the brand-appropriate equipment of the soft drinks and logistics. Finally, the prize is awarded to the licence partner who best fulfils the strict specifications for the production of FRUCADE quality products.

"All our licence partners do an excellent job and guarantee the highest product quality, which this year's neck-and-neck race once again showed in an impressive way," said Michael Ries, quality manager at DrinkStar, at the award ceremony in Bissingen, Swabia. "But in the end, Bissingen-based Auerquelle once again scored points in the smallest details and deservedly wins for the fifth time in a row. Congratulations on this continuous top performance!"

In addition to the FRUCADE certificate, which will be given a place of honour in the foyer of the company, the staff can also look forward to a financial contribution to the next company party.

The valuable water from the Bissingen springs was already mentioned in the days of Pastor Sebastian Kneipp. Today, the company draws the ice-age mineral water from a depth of 342 metres. The water is of excellent quality and forms the basis for FRUCADE soft drinks. Permanent investments in modern technology and control procedures guarantee production at the highest level.

The FRUCADE licensees are united not only by the pursuit of high quality and local bottling. They are also united by their close ties to their local mineral springs and breweries. They make FRUCADE a real local lemonade. And they have been doing so since 1952.
