Delbrouck is one of the leading developers and producers of returnable transport packaging for the beverage industry in Europe. In addition to the certified environmental management system, Delbrouck also meets the requirements of the quality and energy management standards DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 50001.

In the bottle crate market segment, secondary plastics originally from the beverage industry have been used to a large extent since the 1980s. Crates that are no longer needed or have become unsightly are ground on site and, after appropriate processing, added back to the material cycles in a proportion of up to 100%. The bottle crate is a prime example of how resources can be used sustainably.
The materials once used can be used for identical applications over long periods of time without any significant loss of properties.

For this reason, Delbrouck decided at an early stage to have the necessary steps taken sealed in the form of various certificates for quality and energy.

The next step was environmental certification.

Extensive preparatory work had to be done to achieve the high requirements. Through intensive training of the employees and further organizational adjustments, the goal has now been achieved with flying colors.

Delbrouck sees the standard now achieved as the next logical step towards a climate-neutral company and is thus ideally equipped for the tasks ahead.

Preparations for determining the CO2 footprint have already been completed. In the medium term, the aim is to achieve climate neutrality in accordance with international standards.
