Eckes-Granini further expands important out-of-home business segment

Eckes-Granini Germany has further intensified its customer support in the Food Service, Hotel and On-the-go Consumption business segment in 2023 with numerous new appointments at area sales manager level in order to provide its customers with even more targeted support for the current challenges in the industry. This has paid off: the family-owned company was able to gain market share last year and recorded double-digit sales growth in the out-of-home market. "We want to accelerate the expansion of this strategically important business segment in 2024 and drive the development of new growth areas through innovations and customised gastronomic concepts," says Christian Gösmann, Sales Director Out-of-Home at Eckes-Granini Germany.

Marcus Böhrer joins granini's Out-of-Home team
Caterers throughout Germany rely on the high-quality products and many years of experience of the granini team. The path taken in the previous year with targeted new hires from the industry who bring a high degree of passion for the catering industry and outstanding expertise will be continued in 2024. Marcus Böhrer joined the team on 1 January 2024 as Head of National Key Account Management Out-of-Home. He can look back on twenty years of successful sales experience with well-known FMCG companies and will work with the granini team to drive forward strategic market development and customer support.

Demand-orientated and versatile product portfolio
With trendy products and innovative flavours, the top brand granini serves a wide range of consumption occasions and provides the perfect beverage for every occasion: whether ready-to-drink refreshment or single serve accompaniment, cocktail premix or serving system. "In an economic environment in which the catering industry is struggling with unprecedented challenges, we have positioned ourselves in such a way that we can perfectly support the industry with our experienced team and a needs-based product portfolio," explains Christian Gösmann.

This year, granini once again has some exceptional new products in store, such as the 0.33 litre MW Kirsch Schorle, and is also offering price alternatives for the bar area with a sharpened range in view of inflation. "In times of staff shortages, our granini cocktail premixes are also the ideal choice for professional bartenders thanks to their excellent handling and outstanding quality," adds Gösmann.
