Gerolsteiner appoints new Chief Marketing Officer

Gerolsteiner, the market leader among branded mineral waters, is starting 2026 with a new head of marketing. Sabine Kloos took over responsibility for brand management and control on January 12, 2026. She succeeds Marcus Macioszek, who left the company at the end of October.
Sabine Kloos is moving to Gerolsteiner from BP Europa SE, where she has been head of marketing for Aral Germany since 2024. “We are delighted to have gained Sabine Kloos, a proven marketing expert, for this important position,” says Roel Annega, CEO of Gerolsteiner. “Gerolsteiner stands for quality, sustainability, and innovation, and our strong brand is a central pillar of our strategy. We look forward to further expanding our market position with Sabine Kloos.”

Sabine Kloos began her professional career in 1991 in the consumer goods industry, where she held marketing and sales positions for renowned brands such as Mars, Bahlsen, Milka, and Kraft. In 2006, she moved to Coca-Cola, where she took on the position of Marketing Director. From 2012, she was responsible for international marketing at Vapiano. Three years later, she moved into the telecommunications sector, where she was responsible for the o2 brand and brand communication before joining the Telenor Group in Norway. She then expanded her experience in retail as head of marketing for the Thalia bookstore chain. In 2024, she moved to Aral.
