Gerolsteiner expands mineral water range in longneck container

Gerolsteiner is thus expanding its mineral water range in this trendy container into a strong duo. Guests will then have the choice between two mineral waters, both of which come from the Gerolsteiner spring area in the Volcanic Eifel, but which are nevertheless quite different in character: The carbonated Gerolsteiner Ursprung is a water for those who like it powerful. It comes from a spring where a particularly large number of minerals are dissolved from the rock at depth and thus contains 4,441 mg of minerals per liter (3,144 mg of hydrogen carbonate, 590 mg of calcium and 167 mg of magnesium alone). Despite this naturally particularly high mineralization, Origin tastes balanced and mild. Gerolsteiner Naturell, on the other hand, is aimed at fans of still mineral water. It naturally contains 807 mg of minerals per liter, has a pleasantly soft taste, is refreshing and at the same time low in sodium. As part of the launch of Gerolsteiner Naturell in longneck containers, Gerolsteiner Ursprung is getting an airy new design that visually harmonizes with the newcomer. Gerolsteiner Longnecks are offered in a 24-count crate.

The soft drink range in the 0.33 l longneck glass returnable container includes Gerolsteiner sodas in the flavors citrus-mint and orange-passion fruit, as well as a single-origin Elstar apple spritzer. The trendy container is intended to be a platform for further innovative refreshments from Gerolsteiner for the food service industry.

Gourmet & Longneck for different occasions and property types
Gerolsteiner sees its Longneck range as a complement to the traditional Gerolsteiner Gourmet container (0.75 liter, 0.5 liter and 0.25 liter, returnable glass). Longneck stands for a different, more relaxed drinking culture than the classic glass gourmet container, which is mostly served at the table. Both containers therefore cover different usage occasions in the out-of-home market. Longneck appeals more to young gastronomy and bars and is coherent with modern food concepts. The versatile Gerolsteiner Gourmet bottle is used in all gastronomic sectors, including hotels and conference catering. The range in the gourmet container includes the three mineral waters Gerolsteiner Sprudel, Gerolsteiner Medium and Gerolsteiner Naturell.
