Grünbeck AG Expands Executive Board and Sets Course for the Future
News General news
The Supervisory Board of Grünbeck AG has approved the expansion of the Executive Board and will appoint two additional members to the Executive Board effective January 1, 2027. At the same time, Dr. Günter Stoll, previously the company’s sole Executive Board member, will be appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
With this expansion of leadership, Grünbeck AG is responding to its sustained growth as well as the increasing demands in the areas of market, organization, and corporate development. Going forward, the company will be led by a three-member Executive Board.
Ms. Sandra Stricker will assume responsibility for the divisions of Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, and Corporate Compliance effective January 1, 2027. The former Head of Human Resources and authorized signatory has been with Grünbeck AG since 2016 and has played a key role in shaping the strategic realignment of human resources during that time.
Mr. Harald Wiedenmann will be responsible for Sales, Technology, and Service. An authorized signatory, he has been part of the Grünbeck Group—specifically its plant representatives—since 2007 and has held various leadership positions. He has headed the Service division since 2022 and has also temporarily taken over leadership of the Technology division.
Dr. Günter Stoll, who has led Grünbeck AG as the sole member of the Executive Board in recent years, will be appointed Chairman of the Executive Board effective January 1, 2027. Together with his two colleagues on the Executive Board, he will drive the company’s strategic development forward.
Jürgen Weißenburger, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, expressly welcomes the decision: “With Ms. Stricker and Mr. Wiedenmann, we have brought two proven leaders from within our own ranks onto the Executive Board. Both possess many years of experience, a high level of professional expertise, and a strong connection to our company. The expansion of the Executive Board creates the ideal conditions for continuing Grünbeck AG’s successful growth and actively shaping the company’s future.
Dr. Günter Stoll also sees the new structure as an important step: “The challenges and opportunities for our company are constantly growing. I am very pleased to be taking on responsibility in the future alongside two experienced colleagues from the executive team. Sandra Stricker and Harald Wiedenmann are familiar with our corporate culture, our customers, and our strategic goals. Together, we will successfully drive Grünbeck AG forward.”
With the appointment of the two new members of the Executive Board, Grünbeck AG is deliberately focusing on continuity and the development of its own executives. The selection of these individuals from the existing leadership team underscores the company’s long-term orientation while also strengthening the stability and sustainability of its leadership.
