Spirits closures: Guala Closures opens plant in Scotland

Italian beverage closure manufacturer Guala Closures has invested more than €60 million in a new site in Scotland.

According to the company, the official opening of the plant in Gartcosh has now taken place. The site is located in the heart of Scotland's famous whisky region.

The facility covers an area of approximately 20,000 square meters and is expected to employ around 300 people.

Guala Closures' investment is also one of the largest ever made by an Italian company in the United Kingdom.
