The now organic lemonades of the organic pioneer Neumarkter Lammsbräu have now been awarded the Naturland Fair seal as the first lemonades ever.

With immediate effect, now Fresh Lemon, now Pure Lemon, now Black Cola, now Black Cola Light and now Hollerblüte bear the green supply chain seal of the largest international organic association from Germany on their labels. More varieties will follow. The prerequisite for receiving the Naturland Fair seal is an existing Naturland organic certification of the respective beverage as well as special achievements in the categories "Fair producer prices", "Reliable trade relations", "Regional raw material sourcing", "Community quality assurance", "Social commitment" as well as "Corporate strategy and transparency".

Naturland Fair certification is another building block in Neumarkter Lammsbräu's enduring commitment to fair supply networks. Johannes Ehrnsperger, owner and managing director of Neumarkter Lammsbräu: "With the Naturland Fair certification, we document the successful transfer of the principles that have been lived together in our regional producer associations for decades to the supra-regional level. Even with organic raw materials such as lemons, which do not grow directly with us in the Upper Palatinate, we stand for: 1. fair payment for the organic farmers who grow them, with which they can also make their farms economically suitable for grandchildren, 2. personal contact and cooperation at eye level, so that, for example, we can also learn together about environmental protection and effectively combine forces, and 3. supply chains that are as short as possible, save resources and are also completely transparent. In such a partnership, challenges such as the current multi-crisis situation and climate change can be better mastered together.

At this year's Biofach, the world's leading trade fair for organic food (Nuremberg, 14 - 17.2.2023), Neumarkter Lammsbräu will be holding a public panel discussion on what exactly such partnership-based cooperation in the supply network looks like, what the success factors are and what opportunities it opens up, especially in terms of exchange across regions.
