Ron Millonario presents the new edition of the Reserva Especial Número 15
News General news
With the relaunch of the Reserva Especial Número 15, Ron Millonario is underlining its claim to set new standards in the premium rum segment, not only in terms of taste but also visually and conceptually.

To mark the 20th anniversary of the bottling of the iconic Reserva Especial Número 15, Ron Millonario is presenting the relaunch of this classic. The new edition of the premium rum combines traditional Peruvian craftsmanship with a modern design approach, continuing its success story. A new brand image and a modern bottle design take the Reserva Especial Número 15 into a new era.
From Peru to the world: the history of Ron Millonario
Since its foundation in the early 2000s, Ron Millonario has established itself as an ambassador for Peruvian rums. During a trip through South America by Italian spirits expert Fabio Rossi, he came across a family-run sugar cane plantation in northern Peru. Rum had been produced there since the 1930s using a column still imported from Scotland. The Reserva Especial Número 15 marked the beginning of this journey and is still considered the heart of the brand today.
Modern design meets tradition
The new design of the Reserva Especial Número 15 is a tribute to its Peruvian roots and the art of distillation. A high-quality label made of embossed paper, inspired by Peruvian wickerwork, creates a link to its origins. The wooden cork stopper with the stylized Inti sun logo rounds off the traditional appearance. The classic design is combined with a new bottle with clear and elegant contours. "The relaunch of the Reserva Especial Número 15 takes our classic into a new chapter. It combines Peruvian tradition with modern design, creating a product that not only looks great but also tastes great. We are thus strengthening the role of Ron Millonario as an integral part of the premium rum segment and continuing our success story," says Christopher Klotz, Head of Marketing at Sierra Madre.
Finely tuned: A classic with a sharpened profile
The new look and a subtly adapted barrel selection and blending sharpen the profile of the product and retain the character of Reserva Especial Número 15. A velvety bouquet of raisins, figs, plums and dates unfolds on the nose, combined with molasses, chestnut honey and a slight hint of bergamot. On the palate, sweet aromas of vanilla, toffee and candied oranges meet honey-like molasses, creamy chocolate and a fresh, single nuance. Spicy accents of cola nut, cloves and herbal liqueur round off the experience. On the finish, the Reserva Especial Número 15 is warm and flattering, with a honey-sweet note that ends in a twist of red chili and aromatic herbs.
