The Tropical Treasure - the new Remedy Pineapple

Life offers many treasures that want to be discovered. Who would know this better than the alchemist Frank M. Farrington? This legendary apothecary, who, in the spirit of pleasure, experimented again and again with various ingredients in order to develop promising recipes. With his secret remedy mixtures, the "Elixir" and the "Spiced Rum", he once sweetened the whole of New York during Prohibition. On what was probably the hottest day of 1923, Farrington wanted to treat himself. That's why his path leads him from his own store counter to his favorite fruit seller. There he spies an exotic "tropical queen," as the pineapple is also known, which inspires him to create his next stroke of genius: the Remedy Pineapple.

Returning to his home lab, Farrington tinkers with the luxurious tropical fruit. He prepares it with precision, slices its juicy flesh, and heats it until it becomes a rich brew. Several filtering processes later, the medically skilled gourmet holds his desired result in his hands: an essence of fresh, wonderfully sweet pineapple. As if made for a mild blended rum, which he has been storing in his apothecary's cabinet for some time. He skillfully blended the essence with the rum, which comes from Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados and the Dominican Republic.

A first taste test in a self-experiment showed - this aromatic-spicy combination is liquid gold. And the perfect creation for summer drinks. Whether pure, on ice, as an ingredient for the signature drink "Tropical Remedy", consisting of Remedy Pineapple, lime juice, mango juice and a little mint, or various cocktail classics that can use a sweet twist. Thanks to the rediscovery of Remedy Pineapple, all rum fans can taste and experiment for themselves. The blended rum with a sophisticated pineapple note is also finally available in this country. The recommended retail price for the 0.7 l bottle in the distinctive design is €19.99.
