Patrons who've savored the brew pub's specialty German style lagers and American style ales from a beer garden right beside Little White Oak Bayou are out of luck after July 30, when the business closes for good, according to a company Facebook post.

"We'd like to thank so many people who have supported us during this amazing but often difficult 10 months, most especially our staff, loyal customers, investors, food venders and musicians," the post said. "We are incredibly proud of the beer that we've made and the environment that we've created."

A picture of a letter tapped to a locked gate posted on Houston's subreddit by user ToMissTheMarc2 suggests Black Page Brewing Co. was evicted for failing to pay almost $30,000 in rent and property taxes.
