Green Day, Muse, Volbeat - and Warsteiner: the line-up for Rock am Ring and Rock im Park 2022 is complete. Just in time for the start of the festival season, this year's edition cans from the Warsteiner brewery are going into bottling. "This summer we not only want to celebrate Rock am Ring and Rock im Park together with Warsteiner, but also the return to normality on the festival stages," explains Frithjof Pils, Managing Director of EVENTIM LIVE GmbH. "The preparations for the open-air feeling in a class of its own have already been underway for months, and as of today we can toast to it in style."

0.5L festival can in rocking design
"After a two-year break from Corona, we are now looking forward to the festival season," says Marcus Wendel, Marketing Director of the Warsteiner Group, adding, "We are looking forward to celebrating together, good vibes and a cold Warsteiner or two." With the specially designed can, the Warsteiner brewery also has the ideal container for festivals this year, because it is lightweight, unbreakable and opaque, which is a big plus especially for open-air events. In addition, it can be printed all around, offering more surface area for brand information and design compared to labeled containers. Thus, the look of the limited edition can of Warsteiner Premium Pilsner with Rockhand and the Warsteiner brand colors of gold and black, combines mild-hopped beer enjoyment with a love of music and directly incorporates the festival logos.

The same applies to the refreshingly fruity Warsteiner Radler Zitrone beer mix made from 50 percent Pilsner and 50 percent sparkling lemonade, which impresses with a yellow and black design variant. The 0.5L cans in the festival edition are available on site at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park and in advance from May 2 in all Lidl stores in Germany.

Long-time festival sponsor celebrates the start of the season
Warsteiner Brauerei has been involved in music and festival sponsorship for more than 15 years and was already a bar partner of Rock am Ring from 2009 to 2013. In 2021, the family-owned company took up sponsorship anew and also expanded to include the twin festival Rock im Park in Nuremberg. At both events, festival-goers are supplied with cold Warsteiner between headbang and mosh pit.
