Schinagl has been employed at BarthHaas since 2008 and has worked in purchasing there since 2010. Since 2013, the graduate agricultural engineer has been in charge of purchasing abroad and from 2016 was also responsible for ensuring the administrative and logistical processing of supply contracts from all cultivation countries. "I am very much looking forward to organising our purchasing at home and abroad together with a strong team," says Stephan Schinagl about his new task.

The change is related to the transformation of BarthHaas from an owner-managed to an owner-controlled company: Regine Barth (51), managing partner since 2002, and her cousin Stephan Barth (60), managing partner since 1992, moved to the supervisory board. With Peter Hintermeier and Oliver Bergner (54), two long-standing members of the management have been leading the company since January 2022.

Peter Hintermeier, Managing Director of BarthHaas, knows that the management of purchasing is in good hands with his successor: "Stephan Schinagl, with his experience in international business and his passion for hops and the hop market, has the best qualifications for this position."
