With a new, more environmentally friendly bottle design, the premium gin brand Brockmans shows how modern style awareness and responsible production can go hand in hand. The new Brockmans bottle weighs only 500 grams – a significant reduction of 23% compared to the previous 650 grams. By comparison, bottles from other gin brands weigh an average of 42% more. Brockmans thus presents the lightest bottle in the premium gin segment and takes on a pioneering role in the field of sustainable packaging solutions.

Reduced carbon footprint: lighter bottle made from recycled glass
“With the new bottle, we are strengthening our leadership role in the premium gin sector and not limiting ourselves to the taste of our gin. We are also fulfilling our responsibility to the environment and taking another significant step forward in the area of sustainability,” explains Leonie Gendries, Brand Manager for Brockmans Gin at Sierra Madre. In addition to its optimized weight, the bottle is made from 51% recycled glass and all packaging materials are fully recyclable. Given the high energy consumption involved in glass production and the associated CO2 emissions, this represents a significant reduction in Brockmans' ecological footprint. The lighter bottle also ensures lower emissions during transport.

Sustainable production meets elegant design
In addition to its resource-efficient production, the new bottle impresses with its modern and elegant design. Larger and slimmer than its predecessor, it features a textured cap made of lightweight aluminum and a new hatched pattern. The sustainable bottle design is being introduced gradually: Brockmans Intensely Smooth has been available in the new packaging since August. Brockmans Orange Kiss and Agave Cut will follow in September.
