BV Glas: Dorothée Richardt Takes Over as Managing Director of the Container Glass Division

The German Glass Industry Association (BV Glas) has expanded its leadership structure. Going forward, Dorothée Richardt and Ulrike Aldenhoff will support Chief Executive Officer Christiane Nelles in additional areas of responsibility.
As part of this, Dorothée Richardt will assume the role of Managing Director of the Container Glass Division. In her new position, she will further develop the political advocacy efforts of the container glass industry and strengthen the positioning of glass packaging in regulatory and market-related discussions. At the same time, she will remain responsible for communications for both BV Glas and the Action Forum for Glass Packaging.
In addition, Ulrike Aldenhoff will assume additional leadership responsibilities as an authorized representative. In addition to environmental issues, she will also be responsible for the areas of resilience, security, and defense, and will represent the association both internally and externally.
According to the association, BV Glas is responding to the increasing political and economic demands on the glass industry with this expanded leadership structure.
