If you have decided to go for the spiders, however, we can reassure you.
Worldwide, only about 50 people die from spider bites every year. Only about 20 deaths occur after anaphylactic shock from an insect bite.

If you guessed champagne corks, you are absolutely right.
People like to pop champagne corks on New Year's Eve or at special events. But unfortunately, the caps of champagne and sparkling wine like to fly around inside the apartment. However, the harmless-looking cork or plastic stoppers can develop a speed of a good 40 km/h when they come out of the bottle unchecked. And so a champagne stopper can sometimes cause terrible damage in the event of an unintentional collision.

Of course, errant champagne corks are particularly dangerous to the human eye.
More often than eye injuries from fireworks, blunt injuries to the eye from champagne corks are seen on New Year's Eve. "Particularly in closed rooms, champagne corks must not fly freely and they must never be aimed at people," advises Professor Martin Rohrbach, MD, of the University Eye Hospital in Tübingen.
