High-quality, modern, attractive - CHANTRÉ with a new look from March

Shortly after its 70th birthday, CHANTRÉ, Germany's most successful brandy, is presenting a new and modern brand image. The matt black label on the neck of the bottle and the lighter-coloured, modified body label with its distinctive wave shape immediately catch the eye. The new look appeals to both regular users and younger new users.

Attractive, high-quality and with a high brand recognition value - the requirements for the CHANTRÉ relaunch were clearly defined. As part of market research into the new design of the popular brandy, one thing became very clear: it should be more contemporary and fresh, but Germany's best-selling brandy should still remain recognisable. The makeover was a perfect success: The label on the neck of the characteristic CHANTRÉ bottle has been extended and is now presented in a high-quality matt black colour, as is the cap. The name lettering on the bottle appears lighter and more modern on the new, lighter-coloured label, without denying its roots. The wave shape symbolises the softness of CHANTRÉ. By dispensing with the chest label, a reduced and therefore more premium look is created.

"The new design was rated as very attractive in the user survey by both existing buyers and potential new users," says a delighted Patricia Emde, Head of Spirits Marketing at Nordbrand Nordhausen. "We are delighted with the positive feedback and the resulting extensive relaunch, which will give a clear image boost in terms of modernity and visually emphasise the product quality, which has always been high." Both of these parameters will also be reflected at the POS from March in the form of increased shelf visibility and greater interest in purchasing.

Accompanying measures

CHANTRÉ is presenting extensive accompanying measures for the relaunch: The website will also be relaunched and will also showcase the new brand image digitally from March. The popular classic is also repositioning itself on social networks: On Facebook, the page is getting a makeover and is inspiring with various activities. CHANTRÉ's Instagram account is new and will go live in February 2024, appealing to a younger target group. At the POS, CHANTRÉ not only has a new, attractive design on the shelves, but the 72 display also has a new look and feel. In addition, adverts will be placed in specialist media to highlight the attractive new design. Other activities include extensive PR measures and influencer relations. The relaunch is the prelude to a comprehensive package of accompanying marketing measures that CHANTRÉ will be implementing over the course of the year, and whets the appetite for the rediscovery of this timeless classic.

70 years of unrivalled softness

"The soft CHANTRÉ" - who hasn't heard the famous slogan? CHANTRÉ brandy gets its unmistakable softness from fine distillates made from selected wines. These are masterfully distilled and then matured in oak barrels. During storage, CHANTRÉ develops its golden-brown colour and its special, unmistakably mild flavour. Its alcohol content is 36% vol. and the smoothness of CHANTRÉ in particular has been impressing connoisseurs and connoisseurs alike for decades. Over the years, CHANTRÉ has reached the top of the brandy segment and still holds the No. 1 market position today.

Unifying moments of pleasure

CHANTRÉ accompanies enjoyable time-outs that give people joie de vivre and shared moments. And this has been the case since 1953, when Ludwig Eckes composed the timeless classic and named it after the family name of his wife Marianne, a native of CHANTRÉ. Even after 70 years, CHANTRÉ stands today more than ever for unmistakably smooth flavour and unifying moments of pleasure. In addition to the well-known brandy, the CHANTRÉ family also includes CHANTRÉ Cuvée Rouge - the first spirit to be distilled from 100 per cent red wine. It impresses with its deep, ruby red colour and combines the typical softness of a CHANTRÉ with the full, fruity aroma of selected red grapes. CHANTRÉ Cuvée Rouge is the perfect speciality spirit for aperitif recipes and long drinks with a fruity, mild character and appeals particularly to a younger, female target group.

CHANTRÉ brandy is available in 0.1 litre, 0.2 litre, 0.35 litre and 1 litre bottles in addition to the 0.7 litre bottle. These container sizes will also come in a new design in future. The RRP for the 0.7 litre bottle is 8.99 euros.
