Excellent results at the Falstaff Beer Trophy 2025 - Our Barrel Bock achieves a fantastic result
News General news
We now have it in black and white: from 0.0 to 9.1 % - no one can fool us when it comes to bock beer.

Two of our new beers have been awarded the Falstaff Beer Trophy 2025 by the renowned culinary magazine Falstaff:
Our non-alcoholic bock beer “Null Bock” achieved 91 points, finishing just one point behind third place in the non-alcoholic beer category.
The jury describes it as follows: "Copper-colored with red reflections, little foam formation. Delicate roasted aromas reminiscent of roasted hazelnuts, nougat and chocolate. Slender first sip, in which the roasted taste (coffee) comes to the fore. Just enough body, then a long-lasting bitterness."
Even more impressive: Our Doppelbock “Barrel Bock”, which was launched at the end of last year, scored an incredible 96 points, taking first place in the Bock beer category.
The jury praised: "Shiny chestnut brown, fine-pored foam. The aroma combines salty-sweet berries, caramel and cream cheese. On the palate, these contradictory but complementary notes are combined with a hint of cherries. Very big!"
The Barrel Bock was not only the winner in its category (bock beer), but also achieved the highest score of all the beers submitted. Two sensational results with a maximum score of 100 points.
We can also be particularly proud of the mention in the short foreword:
In addition to the best individual rating for the Barrel Bock, our strength for non-alcoholic beers and innovative power is also explicitly highlighted: "The tasters were particularly surprised by Einbecker's ‘Null Bock’. Even intensive beer styles succeed in being surprisingly close to the original without alcohol. So the supposedly conservative beer market still knows how to surprise in 2025."
