Freixenet X Schweppes: Long-term brand cooperation with aperitif as new signature drink

The perfect duo for summer? Freixenet and Schweppes! The two popular brands launched a joint cooperation in June. The focus is on the signature drink "White Peach Spritz" - consisting of a 1:1 mix of the popular Freixenet Carta Nevada Medium Dry and Schweppes White Peach. Bundle packs for the perfect summer drink are now available in the online shops of both manufacturers. The activation at the POS will take place from June onwards via joint secondary placements of Freixenet and Schweppes White Peach. The long-term cooperation will be accompanied by a high-reach moving image campaign with social media integration.

"The cooperation with Schweppes, and with it the signature drink White Peach Spritz, exactly meets the taste of our young target group. Schweppes and the aperitif Filler No. 1 are a perfect match for our Freixenet Carta Nevada Medium Dry. With joint measures at the POS as well as a large moving image campaign, we want to create awareness for this new partnership in the summer," explains Jan Rock, Head of Communication at Henkell Freixenet. To kick off the cooperation, joint product bundles have been available in the respective online shops of Freixenet and Schweppes since May. In support of this, the two brands will present themselves together at the POS from June with an eye-catching secondary placement.

Moving image campaign and social media support
To announce the brand cooperation, Freixenet and Schweppes are launching a large moving image campaign on several channels from mid-June. The fruity and tangy White Peach Spritz aperitif will be perfectly staged for four weeks. The campaign will also be accompanied by regular social media posts on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest as well as on YouTube. As the cooperation between the two brands is designed for the long term, further activation measures will also follow next year.

Joint samplings and tastings at the POS
In order to draw consumers' attention to the new cooperation and to create tasting occasions, on-site tastings will take place in various cities and regions in markets across Germany.
