Fürstenberg Brewery has invested over 1 million euros in a new keg filling line. At the commissioning of this technical innovation, Managing Director Georg Schwende emphasized, "This is another step towards modernizing our company and an important investment in the future of our traditional brewery. It strengthens the Donaueschingen site and also secures jobs in the region. Particularly in difficult times like this pandemic, it is once again an advantage to be part of a strong association like the Paulaner Brewery Group."

The new high-performance system was supplied by Albert Frey from Wald i.A. and offers many advantages:
- All common keg types, especially basket and flat fitting can be used.
- The so-called differential weighing - the keg is weighed directly before and after filling - ensures the exact filling quantity.
- The line is arranged in three lines and has a capacity of 300 kegs/h (100 kegs/h per line). This arrangement with several stations such as precleaner, cleaner, and filling station has the advantage that it can be easily expanded. The existing palletizing system was integrated into the new line.

The Technical Manager of Fürstenberg Brewery, Michael Huschens, praised the employees for the successful implementation of the project: "We were able to install the new line in a very short time. This was only possible thanks to the great performance of the entire team!"

With the dismantling of the old plant as well as the soil remediation and complete piping of the new plant, the project was completed in just three weeks.
