GLUG23 has become a major event for the beverage industry in recent months. More than 85 exhibitors and partners fill the exhibition with innovations and the forum in the barn with exciting lectures. Tickets for GLUG23 on 2 & 3 February 2023 in the old riding hall in Aarau can be purchased at www.glug.swiss/tickets.

"We were allowed to accept registrations from exhibitors up to the last minute, which is not a matter of course" Christian Rudin, co-initiator of GLUG23 is quoted as saying. And indeed, the list of exhibitors at the first national meeting place for the beverage industry represents the "who's who" of suppliers. Small companies like a mobile filling service, but also national and international giants - companies like Bucher Unipektin, Resilux or Bühler are represented at GLUG23. In addition to the Swiss companies, there are even international companies from Germany, Austria, France, Belgium and England.

The entire value chain is covered
The organisers have succeeded in covering the entire value chain of beverage production in the exhibition, from raw materials to processing and bottling, containers and labelling to quality assurance and cleaning. Fritz Züger, who as co-initiator and brewer is responsible for the thematic orientation of the event, is very pleased: "It is very gratifying that we have succeeded in presenting such a broad range of products already at the first event. Visitors will find exciting products and services from all areas such as beer, wine, juice, spirits and mineral water".

Innovative event format
Züger and Rudin have drawn on their many years of experience as exhibitors and organisers to create an innovative event format. Varied for the visitor and efficient for the exhibitor. The concept is appealing and offers many opportunities to exchange ideas.

A supporting programme with strong partners
The Forum in the Stable will host two days of presentations by exhibitors and national partners. Swiss Food Research and the Canton of Aargau's location promotion agency will be devoting themselves entirely to innovation. Foodaktuell will discuss the topic of sugar reduction with industry leaders. Many other contributions, such as on the subject of reusable packaging or Swiss raw materials, await the visitors.

The networking evening on Thursday will bring together around 250 suppliers and beverage producers as well as representatives of politics and associations for an exchange of ideas. The tasting of the Brewers Challenge beers and musical entertainment provide an appealing setting.
