Jever STRONG - the tart and spicy newcomer

With Jever STRONG, Friesisches Brauhaus zu Jever is launching a new premium strong beer - and with a real tailwind. The black and gold half-liter can immediately catches the eye, while the contents impress with their full body, pronounced malty note and tart, spicy character.

Jever STRONG is the answer to two strong trends: the strong beer segment is growing, as is the demand for beverage cans as a practical convenience container - especially for on-the-go consumption. In 2024, this combination increased sales by 9.7% and turnover by 14.4% compared to the previous year, despite the overall decline in the beer market.

“With Jever STRONG, we want to consistently anchor our unique positioning among German premium beers in the strong beer segment,” says Head of Marketing Tim Pieritz. “And that's thanks to both the intense taste and the high-quality, modern design.”

The elegant black can with a golden wave sets new visual impulses and ensures a high recognition value - on the shelf as well as in the display refrigerator.

With its amber-colored appearance and tart, spicy character, Jever STRONG complements the range with the tart Frisian Jever Pilsener, the low-alcohol and low-calorie Jever Light and the non-alcoholic varieties Jever Fun, Jever Fun Lemon and Blood Orange. “We want to serve individual consumer needs even more specifically under the Jever umbrella brand,” says Tim Pieritz with conviction.

From August 2025, Jever STRONG will be rolling into stores across Germany - packaged in 24-pack trays. The launch will be accompanied by eye-catching advertising at the point of sale, flanked by a digital offensive with social media activities, newsletters and on the brand website.
