Milestone after 47 years of success: Kirsch Import starts distribution in Austria

The family business Kirsch Import, which has been in existence since 1976, is expanding: With immediate effect, the company from Lower Saxony is also distributing the more than 4,500 spirits in its portfolio in Austria.
For almost 50 years, Kirsch Import from Stuhr near Bremen has reliably supplied customers from the gastronomy, retail and specialised trade with more than 4,500 spirits. In 1976, Dieter Kirsch started a retail business with his VW Bully, which grew into a wholesale business for miniatures. Since 2015, his son Christoph Kirsch has been the second generation to run the company.
Today's medium-sized company has grown into a full-range supplier in the premium spirits sector. It has already been named "Spirits Importer of the Year" by Meininger's International Spirits Award (ISW) three times in a row, in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Now the Lower Saxons are taking the next big step in their development. From now on, Kirsch Import will also be selling its products in Austria. Christoph Kirsch proudly announces:
"We are very pleased to now be able to supply the Austrian specialised and retail trade as well as the gastronomy there. After almost half a century of success in Germany, this is an eagerly awaited new milestone in our company history. The entire team is looking forward to the enrichment of new customers and many years together with them."
