This was announced by Lammsbräu in March 2023 on the occasion of the presentation of the developments in 2022. Central to the programme are the following five sub-aspects:

1. Expansion of sales activities in high-turnover regions and national hotspot cities through, among other things, focused distribution of a defined core range in traditional food retailing as well as intensified sales promotion measures at the point of sale.

2. Stronger differentiation of the product brands Neumarkter Lammsbräu organic beer and now organic lemonades by revising the brand positioning and strengthening the successful varieties in the respective range.

3. Further increasing brand awareness and tapping into additional buyer groups by expanding the successful cooperations with companies from other economic sectors, such as CamperBoys, Landvergnügen, BioHotels or Boulderhallen.

4. Additional strengthening of the corporate core of sustainability through further implementation of the "Lammsbräu Climate Strategy 2.0": Lammsbräu has already installed a photovoltaic system to generate its own electricity this year and plans to install a solar thermal system to supply heat to the in-house organic malt house in 2024.

5. Preserving entrepreneurial freedom of action, also with regard to innovation, by reducing costs in all areas of the company, including optimised purchasing, further savings in material and energy consumption and the reduction of ten staff positions.

"The past three years with Corona restrictions, fierce inflation and the Ukraine war with all its known negative consequences have changed people's overall consumption behaviour," says Lammsbräu Managing Director Johannes Ehrnsperger. "Like many other companies, we have to react to this with foresight in order to achieve our economic and ecological goals. To do this, it is important to increase our own resilience and to make ourselves independent of the development of individual sectors and sales channels."
