Enjoy more sustainably: new ViO BiO LiMO varieties in bottle made from 100 percent rPET

Promising news that makes you want to drink some refreshment:
Coca-Cola is now offering two new fruity ViO BiO LiMOs in Dark Berries (0.5 and 1.0 L) and Elderberry-Lemon (1.0 L). Like all ViO brand PET bottles, they are filled in packaging made from 100 percent recycled PET.

The popular ViO mineral waters and ViO spritzers are also still available in returnable glass bottles. Coca-Cola is thus continuing its efforts to offer as much choice as possible in high-quality produced and sustainably packaged soft drinks.

With ViO BiO LiMO Dark Berries and ViO BiO LiMO Elderberry-Lemon, two tangy new varieties are making their way onto the soft drink shelf: the intense mix of black currant, raspberry, blueberry, and lemon promises a refreshingly tart taste experience.

And the interplay of finely aromatic elderberry flavor and fruity, fresh lemon also makes the new ViO BiO LiMO the perfect companion on hot summer days. The fact that the two new beverages are available in PET bottles made from recycled plastic enhances their conscious enjoyment.

The declared goal: a world without waste
Around the world, there is a growing desire to live in an environmentally conscious way and to consume in a way that conserves resources. Coca-Cola is continuously investing in the sustainability of its packaging. ViO BiO LiMO plastic bottles were already completely converted to rPET bottles in mid-2020. Since spring 2021, all PET bottles of the umbrella brand have now been filled in bottles made of recycled material. The systematic introduction of rPET bottles is another important step towards a circular economy in which the use of primary raw materials is dispensed with as far as possible and used raw materials are reused.

Thanks to their light weight, PET bottles not only help save CO2 on transport routes, but are also practical for consumption on the go. In addition, switching ViO to 100 percent rPET saves 4,200 tons of new plastic per year.

ViO: refreshment from Germany
ViO is a brand from Germany, and the beverages are all produced locally in Lüneburg. Started in 2007, production is constantly being expanded. Today, the ViO brand includes refreshing ViO mineral waters, ViO BiO LiMO in certified organic quality, and ViO spritzers with direct juice from local fruit. In addition to packaging made of rPET, ViO mineral water and ViO spritzers are also available in returnable glass bottles.
