Fifth Frame Brewing Co. in Irondequoit announced an abrupt and immediate closure, the Berkshire Eagle reported on January 2.

The brewery, located on St. Paul Boulevard, announced the closure on social media. The owners called it an incredibly difficult, but unavoidable decision.

The brewery opened in September 2024 at the site of the former Summerville Grill. The owners remarked that they were warmly welcomed into the community.

The reason for the closure is unknown at this time.
