Sparkling, surprising and appealing - the Pülleken is getting a natural cyclist variant: With the light Zitrönken, the C. & A. Veltins brewery is presenting a summery-fresh Hellbier mix that combines the popular Pülleken style with the fruity note of naturally cloudy lemonade. In the middle of June, Zitrönken will be available in the appealing three-liter returnable container in the traditional Euro bottle shape in six-packs and as loose goods in returnable crates. The Hellbier-Naturradler will be launched in the national retail trade in an eye-catching way. "With the Hellen Zitrönken, we are expanding our range while remaining very close to the popular Pülleken brand world, which conveys lightness and joie de vivre," says Stefan Wiesmann, Marketing Director of the C. & A. Veltins brewery. This time, the three protagonists carry a lemon on the bottle label - the brand fun is once again included. "Helle Zitrönken embodies our Pülleken philosophy: honest beer enjoyment, charmingly served with a pinch of humor." The new brand name combines the Pülleken concept with the varietal character in the word design and fits seamlessly into the Pülleken family as Zitrönken.

Label reflects endearing brand signature
The Helle Zitrönken consists of 60 % naturally cloudy lemonade and 40 % Hellem Pülleken and contains 2.0 % alcohol by volume. It is light yellow in color with a fine cloudiness and a velvety-soft head. The taste combines fresh citrus notes, a mild acidity and subtle malt sweetness - balanced, lively and light and summery. "In terms of design, Zitrönken remains true to the Pülleken world: the charmingly staged label with the well-known trio of protagonists reflects the brand's endearing signature. The bright yellow crown cork rounds off the fresh appearance with a clear sorted signal," emphasizes Stefan Wiesmann.

The product launch will be accompanied digitally via social media and with an eye-catching presentation at the POS. As a new summer launch, Zitrönken provides fresh impetus in the constantly growing natural cycling market and offers a real Pülleken treat - now also lemony, refreshing and perfect for warm summer days.
