Haake-Beck is raising a toast to a special anniversary: 200 years of brewing tradition in Bremen. To mark this milestone birthday, the time-honored regional brand is launching a limited-edition design version of Haake-Beck Pils—featuring a specially designed anniversary label that celebrates two centuries of brewing craftsmanship, community, and shared moments of enjoyment.

The anniversary edition will be available in stores for 200 days starting this summer: as a limited-edition case containing 25 bottles, each 0.33 liters. Consumers can enjoy the familiar fresh, tangy taste of Haake-Beck Pils in this special edition both at restaurants and in regional stores. Truly Bremen, truly Haake-Beck.

The beer has been brewed in the North German Hanseatic city since 1826. By the mid-19th century, C. H. Haake had already established the brewery as one of the city’s leading breweries through his innovation of brewing bottom-fermented beer. Soon, nearly 20 percent of the beer brewed in Bremen came from his brewery. Shaped by this entrepreneurial spirit and refined over generations, Haake-Beck’s anniversary today stands above all for the people who brew, serve, and enjoy this special beer together.

“Haake-Beck’s 200-year history is, above all, a story of people—of our brewers, our consumers, our partners, and the sense of community and togetherness in Bremen and the surrounding region,” says Guilherme Machado De Lima, Country Director Germany at Anheuser-Busch InBev. “With this limited edition, we invite everyone to be part of this story and celebrate it together. We want this anniversary to be a memorable one for all Haake-Beck fans. That’s why we’re giving away 200 exclusive Haake-Beck enamel signs—as a heartfelt tribute to our history and a true collector’s item.”

A brand deeply rooted in Bremen
For generations, Haake-Beck has been deeply rooted in Bremen and the surrounding area, and is present wherever people come together. Whether at the WESERSTADION, the Haake-Beck Beer Summit, the Freimarkt, or the Stoppelmarkt: Haake-Beck stands for a way of life and shared moments that bring people together. This connection is particularly evident in the long-standing partnership with SV Werder Bremen. For four decades, Haake-Beck has been part of the match-day experience at the WESERSTADION. It’s a partnership that stands for reliability, shared passion, and the special moments that bring fans together.

As part of Anheuser-Busch InBev, Haake-Beck combines strong local roots with the strength of the world’s leading brewing group. “At AB InBev, we believe that good beer brings people together,” adds Machado De Lima. “Our local brands, such as Haake-Beck, are at the heart of this mission: They combine global brewing expertise with regional tradition—to a future with more cheers.”
