The container glass manufacturer cites improved capacity utilization as the reason, which has enabled the company to return to regular working hours in all departments as of April 1, 2026.

In recent months, Heinz-Glas had implemented short-time work to respond to a temporarily tight order situation. This measure proved to be an effective tool for bridging the economically challenging phase while simultaneously securing jobs, according to the company. “The decision to suspend short-time work is a positive signal for our company and our employees. It shows that our capacity utilization has stabilized and that we can once again look ahead with confidence,” said CEO and owner Carletta Heinz.
