“With our new beer mixes, we are deliberately breaking new ground and expanding our flavor portfolio to include a kind of beer aperitif,” explains Lars Dammertz, Head of Beer Marketing at the Krombacher Brewery. “We are observing changing consumer behavior and a desire for new, fruity taste experiences. With this range, we want to tap into this trend and offer a modern alternative to the classic beer taste.”

The three new varieties, available in convenient 0.5-liter cans, fall within the classic beer mix segment with up to 5.0% alcohol by volume and represent uncomplicated enjoyment—whether in the park, at a barbecue, or during a spontaneous get-together with friends.

An overview of the three beer-based mixed drinks: Krombacher Sunny Spritz (5% ABV) features a zesty bitter orange note, inspired by the popular classic aperitif. In Krombacher Cubeer Libre (4% ABV), cola and lime meet beer to create a real vacation vibe. Krombacher Fizzy Wild Berry (5% ABV) has a fruity berry flavor and is the ideal drink for relaxed summer evenings.

The products are now available throughout Germany for a limited time in select stores and via the ready2drink online shop. To support the market launch, activations in the Krombacher+ app featuring special contests, select collaborations with social media influencers, and product placements at the target-audience-relevant MediMeisterschaften event will generate additional buzz.
