Rhenser Mineralbrunnen Becomes Part of Refresco Deutschland

Refresco Deutschland GmbH, one of the leading beverage bottlers for private-label and branded products, is taking over the business operations of Rhenser Mineralbrunnen GmbH, thereby ensuring the preservation and continuation of the long-established company. Previously, the provisional insolvency administrator Dr. Alexander Jüchser, a partner at LIESER Rechtsanwälte, and Managing Director Holger Sieck had, following intensive and constructive negotiations with Refresco Deutschland, agreed on a purchase agreement that had been approved by the creditors’ committee. The transaction includes, among other things, trademark rights, real estate, production facilities, and inventory at the Rhens location. As part of a transfer of operations, the majority of Rhens Mineralbrunnen’s employees will also transfer to Refresco. The closing of the transaction is subject to conditions precedent and will take effect on August 1, 2026. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price or details of the agreement.

Ideal addition to the brand portfolio

Further Developing Rhenser’s Potential

Refresco will further develop the long-established Rhenser company and its brands and continue to expand Rhenser’s potential. The provisional insolvency administrator and Managing Director Holger Sieck succeeded in stabilizing and continuing Rhenser’s operations following the filing for insolvency in March 2026.
