RhönSprudel Group appoints new Chief Marketing Officer

Annett Stang took over the position of Head of Marketing / Chief Marketing Officer of the RhönSprudel Group in mid-October 2023. With this newly created position, the company management is taking the Group's growth strategy into account. The beverage expert with many years of experience in brand management in the FMCG sector has been with the Group since 2018 and was most recently responsible for the Spreequell and Mineralquellen Bad Liebenwerda brands as Head of Marketing East for the RhönSprudel Group. In her new role, Annett Stang will develop central marketing management and lead a team of over 20 marketing experts.

Since mid-October, Annett Stang has been responsible for the overall marketing management of the RhönSprudel Group, which is one of the top 10 mineral springs in Germany and holds a leading position in the respective sales regions with its brands. The marketing expert, who has already gained 15 years of experience as Head of Marketing in various FMCG sectors, is thus expanding her area of responsibility with immediate effect to include all mineral water brands of the RhönSprudel Group, which includes Förstina, Bad Liebenwerda and Spreequell in addition to RhönSprudel. Since 2018, Stang has been responsible for the Spreequell and Bad Mineralquellen Liebenwerda brands as Head of Marketing.

The business administration graduate has been a proven industry insider and marketing expert for 25 years and has already held several management positions in the food and beverage industry during her career, successfully positioning brands such as Vita Cola, Thüringer Waldquell and Quäse on the market. Over the past five years, Annett Stang has been responsible for product management, brand management and trade marketing at the RhönSprudel Group's Bad Liebenwerda and Berlin sites. As a member of the Group's sustainability team, she also sees herself as a link between the company's sustainability focus and its brand strategies. "I would like to thank the management for the trust they have placed in me to further develop the marketing strategies of our brands and to further strengthen the role of marketing in the Group. With the growth of the Group and the associated requirements, I see the transformation of marketing into a sustainable marketing organization as an important task in my new role, in addition to the continuous work on our brand strategies," says Stang.

In her new role, Stang will also report directly to Christian Schindel, Managing Director of the RhönSprudel Group.
