After maturing for several years in American white oak barrels, the Oktoberfest Edition underwent a nine-month finish in select beer barrels from Bavarian breweries. These barrels previously held aromatic craft beers, whose subtle hop and malt notes lend the whiskey a new dimension of flavor.
