A great honor for the SLYRS Bavarian Whisky Distillery: Nine whiskies from Schliersee were awarded gold medals at the prestigious Meininger's International Spirits Award (ISW). What do all the medal winners have in common? Sensory excellence that stood out against strong international competition in an anonymous blind tasting without brand names, bottle designs, or origin labels. SLYRS thus remains the benchmark in the German whisky landscape and strengthens its position as a quality ambassador for Bavarian whisky worldwide.
“The awards are much more than medals; they are a great confirmation of the craftsmanship and pioneering spirit with which SLYRS has been paving the way for German whisky for over 20 years,” explains Steffen Brandt, Co-Managing Director for Sales and Marketing.
