The brewers at Karlsberg Brewery have once again brewed with gusto and given the German pilsner a polish: The new Karlsberg Pilsener - a fine-tart Pilsener with a unique taste - is the perfect complement to the tart and fresh Karlsberg UrPils, which the Homburg brewers have given a new dynamic look on top.

Karlsberg Pilsener brings a new taste experience
Brewed with enthusiasm in the Pilsen style: the new Karlsberg Pilsener with 4.8 percent alcohol by volume will be shaking up the beer market in the region from April onwards and will impress with its balanced, fine-tart taste. From now on, this beer and the flagship of the Karlsberg Brewery - Karlsberg UrPils - will stand side by side. Like siblings, the same genes but different in character. Karlsberg Pilsener proudly presents itself with a modern design, in noble white and gold-blue accents, and features the prominent barrel roller star as a highlight in the product design. Karlsberg Pilsener is available in the region between the Moselle and the Rhine known for the brand in the 0.33-litre Longneck and Stubbi bottle as well as in the 0.5-litre NRW bottle in the trade and in three keg containers for the catering trade.

Karlsberg range with a new, dynamic look
Karlsberg UrPils has also been given a fine-tuning in design: the largest single variety in the Karlsberg range - the local hero of the region with the special balance of strong tartness and pleasant freshness - now comes in a dynamic new look. Handmade by the brewers of Homburg: the revised design of the label shows the watermark of a hop cone in the background, emphasising the handcrafted production of the product. A QR code on the back label ties in with this and takes consumers into a story about the Karlsberg brewers who brewed this product with a great deal of passion and craftsmanship. A bold blue barrel roller star on a white background - the traditional Karlsberg trademark - strengthens the cohesion of the Karlsberg product range under the umbrella brand. The dynamic use of the brand logo on the neck label and the cut barrel roller on the crown cork reinforce the modern design.

"Our Karlsberg Pilsener is the perfect addition to our Pilsen range. With its pleasantly fine-tart taste, it is the perfect beer for all fans of the Pilsener brewing style. Like siblings, our new product and our Karlsberg UrPils stand side by side in an attractive product design on the beer shelves of the region with immediate effect," says Karlsberg marketing manager Andreas Oster.
