Further information:
The first single malt was brewed and fermented in Rothaus in April 2006, distilled in June 2006 and bottled in September 2009 at our partner, the Distillerie Kammer-Kirsch GmbH in Karlsruhe. The 1440 bottles of the first vintage were sold out within two days and achieved top prices.

In 2011, the distillery Kammer-Kirsch was awarded "Germany's Best Whisky Distillery 2011" for our Rothaus Black Forest Single Malt Whisky at the 13th Interwhisky Show, the most important trade fair for whisky in Germany.
